What Is the Flow Rate and Pumping Efficiency of Manual Rotary Oil Pumps?

The flow rate of manual rotary oil pumps is determined by pump cavity volume, rotor specification and manual rotation speed. Most standard models deliver 0.5 to 1.0 liters of liquid per complete handle revolution.Under stable manual operation, the conventional pumping efficiency can reach 10 to 20 liters per minute for low-viscosity liquids such as diesel. For medium-viscosity engine oil and hydraulic oil,the efficiency will decrease slightly due to increased fluid resistance.Uniform and continuous rotation speed is the key to stable pumping efficiency.Too fast rotation will cause liquid cavitation and unstable output, while intermittent operation will greatly reduce transfer speed.Compared with manual piston pumps, rotary oil pumps have higher continuous working efficiency and more stable liquid output, with less manual jitter and smoother operation.
