What Is a Hand-Crank Siren and How Does It Work?

A Hand-Crank Siren is a manually operated mechanical warning device that generates a loud alarm sound through a rotating siren mechanism. Unlike electric warning systems, it does not require external power supply and can operate through manual rotation.
The main components of a Hand-Crank Siren include a crank handle, rotating mechanism, air chamber, rotor, and sound outlet. When the handle is turned, the internal rotor rotates at high speed, creating airflow vibrations that produce a high-decibel warning signal.
Hand-Crank Sirens are commonly used in emergency warning systems, civil defense applications, outdoor alarm systems, and areas where electricity supply may be limited.
